Marcel arrived in Abbadia last night and sent me an email. It's very close to Hendaye, between the mountain and the sea. He likes things “between”, does Marcel.

This morning I went back to the Just a Walk site and it struck me that the graphic style chosen by Jocelyn plays a key role. I mean that in Jocelyn's practice, his artistic practice, the graphic element is central. Well, yes, obviously, he's a designer. But it's more than that. In his relation to other people's work, and here even more, graphics serve him as a bridge, as a tool of apprehension and place of reception. It's one of the languages he uses to exchange. It's a language or, more precisely, an accent.
